At the beginning of this project we had to have some practise with the camera and edits to produce a short film. We created a short animation to improve us with our filming techniques, camera angles, sound and editing the final piece.
By making this animation I got creative ideas on the characters which we made out of play dough and created a small set design to put the creatures on. Took shot by shot photos and combined them all together to produce a fast moving picture.
This is the final product which me and my group formed, the finished piece in my opinion was a very prolific and dynamic animation that worked really well.

To prepare for our film project, our media teachers set a task to make an animation. This had to be done from scratch and we had to create the characters, background and scenario. We used Plasticine for the characters, paint or printed products for the background and a storyboard to detail the plot. This gave us some valuable experience in storyboarding and creating a plot as well as a chance to practice our editing techniques and choice of music. The animation is below
