Marking Criteria and Assessing other Candidates work

In this lesson, we went through the marking criteria and the mark scheme for this unit of work and we also looked at past candidates' work to give us inspiration and so that we know what worked and what didn't work and so that we could take this information along with us when we start to do our film. 




Marking Criteria
Research and planning= 20 marks
Main task= 40 marks
Ancillary task x2 = 20 marks 




Previous Candidates work
Example 1 (trailer)= I gave it a Level 3, worth 30 marks and the real mark was a Level 3, worth 28 marks


Example 2 (short film) = I gave it a Level 4, worth 36 marks and the real mark was a Level 4, worth 38 marks


Example 3 (trailer) = I gave it a Level 2, worth 20 marks and the real level was a Level 2


Example 4 (trailer) = I gave it a Level 2, worth 19 marks
